They are a very good side this season especially at home. They destroyed West Ham in the League Cup which they have reached the Quarter Final of. It’s shit in every possibly way.

Miles away, tick
Financially crap, tick
Very difficult game, tick.

Not had a decent cup draw since Sunderland away.

That's got to be one of the worst draws ever that, the amount of prem clubs that have drawn championship clubs, unreal.

Stoke home?

West Ham home?

Those were still over ten years ago though!! Derby at home a few years ago wasn’t too bad. Amazing compared to this draw.

Another crap aspect is that it was us or Boston v Rochdale to be on the box depending on the draw, they got Newcastle at home..... Two pay days missed out on.

The highlight was Tony Adams mentioning the last time he did the draw 27 years ago he was blind drunk.

Gate money if get through is poor, but on the flip side if we do and beat them then the prize money is £135 K. Then it last 32.

Better than being annihilated by a team from the Premier League or the Championship, we proved on Saturday we can compete against teams in the League.

Every time I think of Oxford I think of the A34 ringroad and the fecking traffic jams.

Worst away day out of the whole 92, FACT ! The ground is the equivalent of Pools playing at Dalton Piercy

I wonder if that bizarre pub with the thatched roof near the ground is still open, a very strange hostelry that was!

Oxford itself is a very nice place to be fair for anyone making a weekend of it, the ground is in the middle of nowhere though.

yes. for some reason they are one club where if they are in your league you do not mind if you miss it home or away.

To be fair I imagine Oxford aren't seeing this draw as the Golden Ticket either.

No, but a home draw against a team from one or two divisions below isn't a bad thing in the third round - gives you a good chance of a better draw next time.

If we beat Exeter, which won't be easy, we've got an even tougher task ahead of us and there isn't any great financial reward or excitement involved unless we at least bring them back to the Vic.

i imagine their fans will be delighted with a home draw against a mid table side two divisions below them. they,ll see it as the next best thing to a bye into round 4.

On an aesthetic note I've never liked Oxford's new badge. Used to be a nice biddable ox above a ford but now it is basically an aggressive bull. Our stag looks dainty by comparison, a proper representation of a peaceful woodland creature. If we'd used their graphic designer we'd have something like a giant moose shagging a Land Rover.

You never know. I thought the same when we drew Vauxhall Motors in the cup a few years back. We were in League 1 at the time and I think they might have been Conference North?

However I'm not as confident of getting past Exeter now. A better draw might have spurred us on but the prospect of another away day to the best team we've played so far in a match that isn't particularly lucrative might convince the powers that be that it's not worth jeopardising the league campaign.

We’d have been on instead of Plymouth v Bristol Rovers if we hadn’t have got such a bad draw. It’s cost the club a lot of potential we will have to win the replay and round three to make up for it

Come on PJ, Plymouh if they win will play Ipswich or Coventry which is not an eye watering tie either

I allways thought Non league teams are the ones the FACup is all about unless they see us beating Exeter as not a surprise/upset

As i see it that is a shocking decision by Bt

plenty of replays to pick from. doubt a west country derby between two league clubs has much of the magic of the cup written all over it unless you live in that area.

Let’s be honest it’s crap. So crap that even if we beat Exeter and won 12-0 it would still be crap. Maybe I just hate the A34.

Aye it's a shame but due to our "cup run" there'll be a few more quid in the pot but not as much as I'd hoped.
On the plus side all we have to do is beat them both and we could still get a pay day...........I'll get me coat !!!
