Kind of games we need to be winning.

A frustrating 1-1 all over it. Holohan equaliser.

We will hammer somebody soon.....

4-0 James, Kabamba, Hollihan, Kioso

Look out for some new corner routines, refreshing to see at Ebbsfleet.

Totally agree but I was pilloried for saying similar last year. Unfortunately it appears that most fans would rather not see us lose than go flat out for a win and risk losing.

Same team, same tactics and same results, better when Toure came on with immediate threat and composure at back with Cunningham, need a left back who can defend, an attacker who can trap and hold a ball, oh we have Muir but sending him on loan banghead

We're in this league for a long time until we get some consistency, I'm afraid.

Thought we looked settled defensivley with 4 at back under Sweeney, not so with 3 at back.

Poor performance all round, no idea what Holohan did when he got through on goal, that would have settled us down and he went on to have a stinker.

Another good ref I thought, both pens spot on, shame about our effort over the line that wasnt given.

Season pretty much over.

Thanks for this as it often takes ages to get on pools website.
I had ticket 319 any chance of a second place?

I was thinking exactly that before logging on here tonight. We're not losing that much, but far too many draws. We should lobby to return to two points for a win!

Yeah we don't go anywhere but mid-table but much better to see the old Hartlepool fight back to draw than lose at home yet again. Baring my ass for Horden and co to kick me.

win one and then lose one is better than two draws especially a home one. roll on tuesday night for another one pointer.

They say the table doesn’t lie. Well last season we finished mid table and I don’t think anyone would argue that was about right. At the moment we are playing virtually the same players and where are we in the league, mid table. I do believe the new manager has seen through how many average players we have and bring in at least two or three new faces.

A shame that Hawkes didn't hit the target from near the half-way line, to show up their pillock of a keeper

plus so many of those average players in or out of the side are are much of a muchness. very similar average lads who,ll play well in one game then rank in the next three. hope any new players will show consistance at least which is were the problem lies.

We need players who can perform in both halves of a match.

The statement that attack is the best form of defence applies to Pools as we are shit at defending.

Chris Turner was said 2 - 0 is a dangerous score. I’d take that every game. The thinking is at one behind a team plays normally hoping to get a goal but at two behind you have nothing to lose and just go for it.

He also said Behan was a "hard to find, left footed striker"
