Mark Simpson keeps saying 'Kerr takes the throw in'

Never seen him take one before and dont sound like long ones, he at wing back or something? Dont often see centre backs taking throw ins

What a win....really wasn't expecting that ! They would be top of the table if they won their game in hand. (Yes, I know it was the FA Cup)

p.s. I'm not a NEW member technically, Barriewardrobe couldn't log in, and even when I got a new password via email, it wouldn't work. Replied via email, it just bounced back. Tried to contact Mr I, but you have to 'log in' to do that.....arrrggghh !!!

BBC highlights

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football ... QeomD0W4hI

Yeovil fans chucking coins and bottles at Killip, he responds by winding them up and taking ages to take goal kicks. Nasty scenes at the end of the game when Ben celebrates too much infront of their fans and their No 9 has a right go at Killip and a general scuffle melee ensues between all the players and many of the other staff with their goalie trying to get at Killip.

A worse that Byornson miss by their striker.

Loads of diving, time wasting and cynical fouling by Pools - I reckon the new manager might have already shown his style of 'play' to get us out of this league. Not a bit too soon some might say!

Pools by far the better team great to watch and if you can stomach the 'professionalism' things look promising.

When will Yeovil Town/stewards/National League get on top of Yeovil fans chucking things at players.

Delighted with the result, but not sure I want to "stomach the professionalism". It's supposed to be a spectator sport (i.e. entertainment) & time-wasting is cheating all the paying punters out of their money. We don't want to be the 2020 version of Leeds Utd under Revie, who were hated (& still are hated by some) for their version of "professionalism"

Was their number 9 Rhys Murphy by any chance? He was a utter piece of shit at our place, constantly whinging and moaning and trying to start fights all game. Blaming everyone but himself aswell even though he kept fucking up.

Imagine Killip will be disapointed with that goal.

Amazing how similar that miss is to Bjornnsons! Shame it wasnt Murphy.

Glad to hear about the time wasting and cynical fouls, needs must im afraid.

First time iv seen Kitching take a free kick aswell, Kabamba really should have put it away.

Go again Saturday and I think I saw Ebbsfleet have the worst defence in the league so far.....

Entertainment? We won 4-1 away from home against the team 2nd in our League our second win against them in recent times.

We’re are finally a bit more suited to this League sitting naively on some sort of moral high ground will get us nowhere like it hasn’t for the last couple of years. The referees are generally poor other teams are going to be streetwise and manipulate certain situations you either mix it yourselves or get turned over.

Personally I hate Pools being in the National League, Revie’s Leeds team were winners. We need to win more, we have spent far too long being losers.

Oh and Yeovil fans and keepers? Recent weeks would suggest that they like ourselves have one or two doyles supporting them. Killip gave a bit back while we were thrashing them, fair play I say the same set of fans lobbed a padlock at his head the other week.

I thought it after we beat them the other week the Yeovil manager came across as a bit of a whopper, his interview after last nights game confirmed this. It appears that he thinks he’s managing Real Madrid. Teams come to Yeovil and just sit in and put men behind the ball apparently.

Great result.

The 4-1 win was some result considering our victory at the Vic according to Sarll was only possible because we played the best we had all season and Real Yeovil one of the worst they had.

Imagine what he’d be like if his cv was better than a single fairly disastrous spell at Stevenage...

His comment at the end about being diplomatic... their fans have now had 3 incidents of throwing stuff on the pitch, but it's our keepers fault.

Imagine blaming a player for reacting to something like that...

All the more remarkable when you consider he did it sat on the floor with his arms outstretched appealing for a free kick.

plus they caused an away game to be stopped. wonder if yeovil will come up before the FA because of their fans behaviour. will not hold my breath.

the meek might inherit the earth but they,ll never win promotion back to the FL. could not give a flying one if pools upset any opposition as long as they win. how many times has the boot been on the other foot in the last few years. great result anyway which was not expected. please, please lets have the same on saturday.

I would personaly love us to be the 2020 version of Leeds United, Who were by far the best at that time.
Every player that pulled on a Leeds shirt gave 100% and never hid.

I grew up in that era and if thats what it takes, bring it on.
You got great entertainment from a truely great footballing side.

We will never get out of this league by trying to play football for 90mins that is just being naive and simplistic.

The thing that struck me after watching a few home games this season, especially the last one against Solihull, is how streetwise the other sides are when they go one up - time wasting, conning the ref, cynical fouls, all sorts. It's about time we followed suit and I couldn't give a rats arse if it portrays us in a particular light as long as we are up there come the end of the season.

He's got a point though if the ref had extended the first half a bit past the 'minimum' of two minutes injury time they might have scored four extra goals and won.

Had a good good chat with a Luton fan last night, he said there was no way they'd have got back in the league if they hadn't adapted to the more agricultural style.

Since the heady days of Wadsworth I can't remember a manager who inspired some steel and cynicism.

Killip didn't need to react at the end of the game though, the scoreline had already answered the Yeovil fans goading. If that incident had escalated further we could have been thrown out of the competition and money withheld.
Bit stupid really....like you.

Yeah I’m sick of teams getting thrown out of the FA Cup for players celebrating a win in front of opposition fans. It happens all the time. I think it’s how Liverpool went out last year. Bury were actually kicked out the League for ear cupping, the other stuff is a smokescreen.

Do you reside on planet Earth?

Not at all I don’t know him I am just reading stuff that you are posting and thinking you must be on some sort of wind up.

You think, seriously, Killip giving the crowd a bit back at full time last night could have resulted in us getting kicked out of the FA Cup?

I’m sorry if you are going to offer up stuff like that I think some mild piss taking is fair enough

Such is the world we live in. The so-called ''smart''-phone is a core reason for this, and these Devil's dildos should be rejected by all right-minded folk...

might result in killip getting a free transfer to darlo as punishment for such vile actions as they could have caused great distress to yeovil fans and effected their future lives.
