Chuffed with a draw tbh, a real test this one.

2-1 loss.

We're long overdue a win here. Or even a draw. I'd take a draw given the form they're in.

Should be a canny crowd if we've sold that many advance tickets already.

I was hoping for at least a draw but Dominic Scurr in the Mail is predicting we will start with only ten men and no goalie....

So I'm going - we get beat.

James is starting so 10 men is correct

I like Featherstone, decent player until he decides to blind turn in his box and giveaway goals, in this instance James but one swallow etc.

Would have snapped your hand off for 2-2 before kick off but after being 2 up it doesn't feel as good as it should.

Good result, still tight as owt, 9 points off top with game in hand. Goal before half time was a right killer.

Exactly how I feel. We have to learn to manage games better.

Once again the amount of chances we missed against a very poor county side sometimes it was just to easy.

Atmosphere was spot on still wondering how earth we dropped 2 points today.

Game of two halves today. First half we dominated and made them look terrible. Mafuta was awesome and the rest of the midfield weren’t far behind him. A lucky goal, that Kerr should have put safely into touch took the wind out of our sails just before half time. They were better in the second half but thought we still deserved the win and had a few decent chances to take it.

Sweeney applauding the fans with the team stood behind him after the match felt a bit of a final gesture to me. I’d expect Challinor to be announced next week.

I was all for Challinor getting the job when Hignett got sacked however I would be dissapointed if Sweeney never got it. We were very good today and last week, didn’t go to Aldershot or Brackley but still 2 wins

if challinor does get the job he should really take note of what sweeney has done with the players he has. just hope that he just does not undo some positivity and ignores it just to bring his own style and system into the club.

Think we should give sweeney a punt, all the other names mentioned don't fill me with confidence

Yup Sweeney for me. Club seem to be doing a lot of Sweeney pictures and the like on Facebook at the moment. Hopefully it's just preceding the announcement.

Not only should Kerr have put it into touch, but as soon as Killip left his line, Kitching & Raynes should have raced to cover for him.

Kerr didn't get off the ground for their 2nd goal
