I think, we'll miss the playoffs by 5pts. Finishing 9/10th.
After having a good second half of season.

We are closer to the bottom four than the top seven.I'd go for safety first.

Something has to change for that to happen and I think that as long as we're looking safe we should stick with Hignett. That just leaves players, so if we can bring in a couple of handy loanees then I don't see why we couldn't challenge.

Hignett doesn't play the loanees he signs. Getting everyone fit will still be his priority.

It's way too early to write the season off but some decent results in October are a must. Need to start winning home games!

Our away form is fine, that’s a decent point today if hadn’t just taken one point from two very winnable home games. Unless we improve at the Vic the season will be another disappointing one.

No, top 10/12 if we are lucky. Then again this is a strange division, nobody looks like they'll walk it this season. We are dropping too many points to teams we should be beating.

If we go up I will have a pint in The Shades, do my shopping in Lynn Street, visit Camerons Brewery to sample Strongarm, go back to work at The Steelworks (South Works), and after doing my shopping have a pint in The Chesters, The Saxon and finally The Seagull at Crimdon and get back from the match to buy (or sell outside The Royal Arms Peterlee as I used to do( The Green 'Un and be happy to see The Docker on a plank with no safety harness or hard hat with thumb up indicating Pools have won 4-0 at home. Now't to beat Pools. At this rate be lucky to keep out the bottom 4. Please prove me wrong.

It's probably make or break time already. Up next Yeovil Town who are making a fist of it in an effort not to stay down here and then Stockport County (old foes from way back) who although not doing so well at the moment have hauled themselves back to somewhere with an eye on regaining their former status. (Championship not so long ago as I recall). It's a bit like being back in the football league except its not. Anyway, beat this pair and I am shamed and if as I suspect we take 1 point from the two games then... Over to more experienced and knowlegeable bunkerites.

If we keep Hignett to the end of the season relegation is a serious possibility.

He is constantly out thought by superior managers and is too emotional to be in charge of a team. Too start the seson with a ridiculously large squad has left him unsure who to pick and his judgement and tactics are so obvious and easy too defend.

We have the players to compete but too many errors and not enough attacking will lead us too negativity and draws that will only produce relegation.

Time for him too move back upstairs and clear some players out under a new manager.
