I enjoy good wholesome healthy takeaway/homemadeish cooked food diet. I nearly always/sometimes buy a bag of mixed salad and have a bit with me meals.

Had a Grande Garlic Chicken and shroom Pizza the other night. 10/10 Royal Chef reopened after 2 weeks hols. Had Crispy Garlic n Chili Chicken with Noodles. Dad had Chicken, chips, peas n gravy. 9.45/10

PJ get a mini bus up and I'm deffo first on for a trip to the Slaughterhouse. Monkeybutt can bring the Fun and Laughter Bars for snacks.

As an aside, I stand by Herons frozen Donner Meat. Don't knock it til you've tried it.

Had a bacon sarnie at the cafe on the site of the old baths at Seaton.
Massive door step type white bread with loads of bacon and lashing of butter. It was a bit like the sandwiches the construction workers used to eat perched on the girders 300 foot up whilst building the Empire State Building. Tea only $1.50 a pot.

Can you order from VTE by phone for a delivery.(what is the number)
The reason i ask is that last night i went on what looks like their website and could not find a phone number and you were directed to "Just Eat". As i was pissed and couldnt be arsed to register i just ordered something from another takeaway.

Grande still the bestest in the Metropolis. Spoons now able to do runny yolks. The place on the estate has been taken over. The Fishn chips are good, Pizzas decent. I will report back after further investigation into Dulay I Fry.

At 4.15 pm on Thursday 11 July 2019 the large Greggs in Hartlepool town centre RAN OUT of Cornbeef pasties.
I choose instead a Chicken pastie which consisted of rubbery chunks of some white meat in a white sludge.......disgusting.

Have you ever actually cooked before? Whacking the frozen shite in the oven doesn't count.

Dominos have put up the amount you need to spend before they deliver. I Had to spend £13.99 for a home alone deal. Only choice of drink in the deal was Lilt or Oasis. I haven't had Lilt for yonks.

Was in Bettys in Northallerton the other day and had Dry cured Gammon with honey and wholegrain mustard glaze on a bed of minted peas topped with a poached egg along with minted potatoes.£14.95.
Had it at lunchtime and didnt need anything else to eat until the evening when i had a few crackers with cheese.
So looking at it over the full day it was a bargain.

Had a feel of a Parisian restaurant.

Went here last night https://habibi-yorkroad.co.uk/menu

Really recommend it, something a bit different for Hartlepool. Good portion size and very reasonably priced. Paid £3 for a Shwarma wrap and halloumi fries.
