I’ll probably be alone on this one but stuff like this really doesn’t bother me.

It doesn’t effect me, my family or anyone I know so I don’t get offended by it.

People can be who they want, if It makes them happy, go for it.

There’s far too much toxicity n hate in the world.

I am assuming this is something that Piers Morgan has shouted about on the Telly whilst pretending to actually give a fuck about it.

I’m with Yupeb it’s not particularly confusing who gives a shit about things that have no impact at all on them in reality if it makes a person feel better then crack on. Kids go through loads of turmoil in younger life surrounding these sort of issues the less gender/sexuality/race becomes a thing the easier life gets for everyone. People are just people at the end of the day.

People can do what they want as long as they dont go off it with people who make the "mistake" of using the standard terms towards them.
Slightly different but I had a work colleague who decided one day to start using his middle name as it was more biblical (yes he was a bible basher) and if we made the mistake of using his old name he used to get a strop on. He was a right pain in the backside about it so sometimes we did used to get it wrong just for the kicks!

Sex and gender; they're two different things. For lots of us, we see them as the same and there's no issue in how we construct our identity. For others, it's an important difference. In that context, constructing one's identity is bloody hard, especially in a world that doesn't recognise the difference between sex and gender. There's the very simplified version for you; that's all you need to know.

I would support anyone for being themselves and also have respect for anyone using their popularity or fame to raise awareness. It's not as if Sam Smith goes out of his way to start threads saying someone else's way of living, that has no effect on his own, is 'fucked'. That would be particularly cuntish to say the least.

How did you go from what is a relatively reasonable response to more of the snowflake nonsense? I don't even understand the jellyfish reference so I can't really comment on that. I know they rarely venture 200 miles inland though so I'm not worried about them.

To admit that something bothers you more than it should but then keep posting about it and getting worked up when people say that they're not bothered is fairly strange behaviour.

Someone I'm extremely close to suffered such serious mental illness that a working diagnosis of schizophrenia was made. Turned out to be bi-polar in the end but it will still cause loads of problems over the years. Does it make me a snowflake if I don't find your last post at all funny?
