This is an extract from the Chorley website......has anyone tried one?

FOOD & DRINK
Unless the game you’re attending is segregated the social club is open to both home & away fans alike. Situated on the left of the main entrance after the Duke Street turnstiles, the bar provides a friendly pre and post-match atmosphere where you can enjoy a pint while watching live football on TV (subject to availability). Our drinks specials include £2 pints of Thirsty Magpie Lager, Tetley’s Smooth & Somersby Cider from 1-2pm. As for food, The Magpies Nest serves a selection of hot and cold snacks, plus our famous butter pie. Why not try one with peas and gravy?

Care workers, the thought of wiping someone's arse make me hack, give em a discount.

All seems a bit daft to me. First everybody wanted to give the armed forces cheap tickets because of the heroes campaign but then loads of people said 'What about the nurses?' so they extended it and then realised that ambuance crews and paramedics had to be in there as well. I can't see why NHS Trust CEOs, GPs and Generals need discounts.

I'd give pensioners and people in full time education big discounts but let everybody else pay full rates except for special promotional offers.

The question i was asking is why does the Chorley website say £12 for adults yet the pools website says £15. sctatchinghead
