VAT, which is a monumental, unfathomable pain in the arse for small businesses and turns us all into tax collectors, is an EU measure. It could be ditched and replaced by something far simpler.

Could be good news for any small businesses that survive the clusterfuck. Hard to put a positive spin on it for the ones that don't...
