Right then you lot, I’ve got to make a choice.
Seeing as. I’m voting on your behalf can I have a straw poll on your preference.

There are two choices so ‘none of the above’ or ‘chairman Corbynski’ are not options..

A week ago I’d have said Hunt but he’s peddling the same unrealistic horse shit as Johnson to appease the leave at any cost cranks, so in an ideal World neither but I am starting to think Johnson will cause more irreparable damage to a party that deserves it in the months he’s actually Prime Minister and it would be wonderful to see him suffer that ignominy. Vote ‘Boris!’

Brexit is something that’s happened, people can froth and foam, but that’s life, I’ve experienced much more worrying things in my life. What I find hard to come to terms with is the suspension of reasoned debate and normally reasonable people becoming raving vitriol spraying nutters.
I’m avoiding any posts relating to the subject as it’s just noise now.

I think the problem for at least 50% of nutters is that Brexit isn’t something that’s happened, some of the stuff from the other side has been equally unhinged though.

This is about the Tory leadership.

Who are you choosing, Shit or Shite?

I think the vitriol spraying nutters are still in the minority most just want something that works for all of us and most would prefer us not to become the Worlds first country to put economic sanctions on itself. Still after all that’s happened neither of this vacuous pair are prepared to be honest about the situation we find ourselves in as it might lose them votes, it always comes back to where it started in this shambles; self interest.

At least Farage knows we aren’t going to leave on October 31st or maybe ever and that he will never be in a position to do anything about it so has gone hard on the unicorns and money trees delivered in a style that wouldn’t be out of place in Nuremberg in the 1930’s.

could have told him that just after the vote. much too close to ever get the big majority of the country behind it. in the months to come they,ll just be thinking of ways how to drop the thing after all this waste of time everyone has suffered.

Boris has the better chance of finishing off the Tories for once and for all. He's the man to rally the dying core membership and recent racist entryists for a flamboyant final death charge against the bum-boys, picaninnies with water melon smiles, and garlic-munching European bureaucrats. He could call an election and campaign with the slogan, "Fuck business, let's go down fighting!"

You know you want him Mr I, don't let us hold you back.

Ya big tease! You'll be voting for Boris, along with a majority of Tory party members, and it's really got naff all to do with the rest of us who wins.

The good news is that whether C/Hunt or Cuntier comes out on top, we're moving ever closer to a vote of no confidence and a General Election.

Not that I think a GE will produce a clear outcome, but a lot of current MPs will get the comeuppance they deserve. Collectively they've blown the chance for a 'soft Brexit' - a way out of this mess that most voters would have settled for.

When are they going to admit that Brexit can't really be done?

Instead of continuing all the bluff and bluster to buy another month or two of time?

Both are awful, naturally, it's a Conservative leadership election after all.

Coming from, albeit a potentially naive viewpoint, I think Johnson would be slightly less dangerous for the NHS so he can have my "vote".

When the referendum result was announced in 2016 i spoke to a friend who has an interest in us remaining in the EU.
My quote to him was "we wont leave cos we cant leave" and 3 years later nowt has happened.
I stick by my statement.

I would not be surprised that if Boris became PM he would change his mind on Brexit.
But by then he will have gotten what he wanted having used Brexit as the vehicle to number 10.
