Possibly one of our worst signings ever. Good luck to them on their relegation scrap, with him in their team.

There is the remote possibility he may finally come good. However, the more likely scenario is he contributes to an increase in eye rolling syndrome, severe head shaking, incessant tutting, bitten finger nails and a whole new wider swearing vocabulary.
The penny will quickly drop and like a lighthouse in the desert, discover they made a mistake.
He always reminds of Laings oil rig yard at Graythorp and his uncanny resemblance playing ‘style’ wise to those big lumbering lumps of rigs moving slowly out and hopeless at manoeuvring.
They’ll soon twig on.

It’s a good job we’re not then would be the short answer to that!

I wonder if Scott Harrison is staying at Spennymoor? If not they could reunite the blancmange brothers. If he is staying it will be some game when they play each other, decided by who makes the most howlers. Or the managers could agree to rest both and start the game with score at 2-2.

Harrison doing well at Spenny apparently. Don't forget it is a level lower and Laing has done ok at Blyth so it could be the level that suits him. John Borthwick did nothing for you lot but top scored for us in two championship winning teams. I have no doubt you have signed players from clubs whose fans think that particular player was rotten and yet they have done ok for you. Nathan Thomas did nothing for anyone yet earned you (or Coxall) some good money when he left.

I hope he does perform for you. But don’t hold your breath.

a lot will depend on how many goals they can score. might be some humour as when they score 5 some of their fans might be thinking they,ve a chance of a draw now.
