I'd only rule Porto out myself. Ajax and Man Utd were big shocks in the last round. Juventus' defence are getting on now and their keeper isn't great, they could easily be embarrassed by the kids of Ajax as well but then you can never write off a team with Cristiano Ronaldo in.

Would be great to see an all English final, imagine Liverpool and Man City directly competing with each other for the double.

The kids of Ajax could clean up but its an outside bet.

Semis are already drawn. When Barcelona have dumped Manure they get to give it to the scousers.

Barcelona in the final.

The other side is harder to predict. Juve v ManCity semi. Juve to win with Cristina scoring the decisive goal.

Barcelona v Juve - Juve to win with Cristina scoring the decisive goal.

CR awarded player of the tournament and made President of Italy.

Not n easy call Predicting the winner.

Goin for Barcelona to beat Spurs in final with lots of crowd trouble.

Why would you get crowd trouble at Barcelona v Spurs final? I know the final is in Madrid but it’s not at the Bernabéu, plus although the rivalry is intense I don’t see any real history of crowd trouble between the two (Barca v Real) or in general. Other than that it’s a fixture that’s happened already twice this season without incident.

You have to start taking Ajax seriously some of the Football they are playing is sensational and why should they fear anyone after deservedly knocking out Real Madrid and Juventus. Even though Messi is as good if not better than ever I have seen better Barcelona teams they won’t come against shite like Ashley Young or Phil Jones from now on I reckon the Semi v Liverpool will be a cracker and hard to call. So it is wide open, I have feeling this is Manchester City’s big chance to get off the mark in terms of Champions Leagues though.

It’s not going to be your ‘Ten German bombers, no surrender’ lot who go to England games though it’s going to be a cross section of season ticket holders who pay a fair whack for them.

Wow, that was an eventful game! Glad I'm not a Man City fan as that game could easily result in a few heart problems.
As a spectacle I don't think there's been a game like it, certainly not this season that I can think of. Don't think the ref & VAR got anything wrong between them either which is always a bonus.

Both semis are exciting prospects but for the sake of having an all English final I hope Tottenham's injuries aren't too bad.

I absolutely hate VAR though, it’s utter bollocks and just not football.

Football is about spontaneity and going absolutely ape shit when you score in the last minute, can anyone properly celebrate again? Plus the Spurs third did hit Llorente’s hand and the referee wasn’t even provided the best angle on the shit little tele. Whether it was handball or not is another question, not for me but another referee would have given it; totally subjective.

I agree that VAR is bollocks but I think the ref got the handball right and, given the way they have been asked to interpret the rules, these decisions shouldn't be subjective. According to a few refs I've heard talking about it the guidance they were given at the start of the season is that if a player doesn't increase their silhouette by sticking a hand or arm out it isn't handball.

That makes sense to me but it is a rule that you can only really apply using VAR. Deciding whether somebody made their shape slightly bigger or not without a replay and still shots is impossible so we've got different rules for different levels of the game. At Pools and lower handball will still be moving the hand/arm to the ball and the idea of it being deliberate, at the top levels it will be about the players having to control their outline shape to guard against handball decisions if the ball hits them. That sort of difference won't be good for the game in the long run.

Nothing will be decided tonight whatever happens, even if Manchester City win they are only one point ahead and I don't think any of the games they have are straightforward fixtures. Burnley away is a contrast in styles and always a tough place to go, Leicester are a decent team then on the last day Brighton could be needing something, and they showed last night they can be hard to beat. Liverpool have one gimme in Huddersfield at home but they also have two trickier ones in Newcastle away (who's recent home form is excellent) then Wolves to finish who have been very good against the top teams all season. They also have the small matter of two games against Barcelona to complicate matters. It could easily go either way and looks likely to go to the last day.

When I read that the premiership clubs spent £260 million on agents last year and that Pogba and De Gea are asking for £500k and £350k per week respectively, and then read that North Ferriby United are going to the wall for a comparatively paltry sum of £7k, it sickens me.
Which is why I binned sky membership three years ago and don't support premiership football. I couldn't give a toss who wins the bloody thing.

I only watched the second half - amazing stuff. They deserved it for sheer self-belief. Not wasting any sympathy on Barcelona, they looked like a one man team last night.

Let's see what Spurs can do tonight.

Brilliant to watch, did Barca even manage a shot of any note in the 2nd half?

Looked an unreal atmosphere, wish I had been there.

Good luck to the scousers in the final.

Not taking anything away from Liverpool they were magnificent (they were actually the better team in both legs as strange as it sounds) and got through on pure desire but Barcelona were embarrassing as Mr Dawes said it looked like only Messi was actually trying I have never seen him in his own half and actually trying to tackle back as he could see the white flag had gone up from a few of his shell shocked team mates, you would fall out with with a few of that fourth goal was scored on a Sunday morning. Very switched on from the brilliant Alexander Arnold though, England all of a sudden have some of the best young players in the World.

Robertson’s injury (caused by some text book shithousing by Suarez!) actually worked in Liverpool’s favour not just Wijnaldum’s brace I thought the regularly underrated Milner was brilliant in the period he played left back as well and Liverpool were less predictable as a lot of the focus first half was down Barca’s right.

But back to Barcelona either the Roma collapse last season has mentally scarred them or they hadn’t learnt anything from it and turned up thinking about the trip to Madrid. Either way they were dogshit.

Alison made a few good saves second half from memory, he’s the biggest difference this season for Liverpool they have a top class keeper and he was very good last night as bad as Barcelona were.

To be fair any keeper was going to look good after Karius. Not the end of the goalie laughs though! Tottenham have his soul mate and (first) namesake playing for them tonight.

Liverpool had Barcelona under the cosh for long periods last week. This week they didn't forget that all those attacks are meant to produce goals. Well deserved victory over the two legs.

Luis Suarez has always been a cheating knut of the first order. The Scousers loved him when he was their cheating knut but hated him last night. Football fans, eh? Glad he finished on the losing side though.

A second leg hasn’t been thrown away like that in Liverpool since Paul McCartney had that blazing row with Heather Mills shortly before they divorced.

Have to feel for Ajax but fantastic for English football. Neither Liverpool or Tottenham had their biggest names playing either.

Who said lightning doesn't strike twice? Dunno how Spurs scrapped their way to a win, they looked dead on their feet for the last 20 minutes.

Wonder if Arsenal and Chelsea can manage another all English final from much better positions in their ties?
