Beckham involved now, high profiles must mean that experienced manager must be looking over his shoulder!

7 points off the top with a game in hand I’d swap places with them!

The League is wide open anyone from 9th upwards could finish top, and not many of those top nine are actually in good form. Hard to pick a winner but I’d say Salford are well in the mix and shouldn’t be really thinking about sacking the manager.

Leyton Orients all along, I’m very surprised Macaulay Bonne isn’t playing at a higher level, To what they where playing like last season and now it’s unbelievable, I just hope Salford don’t come back into it and have a going up Parade at the Vic on the last day off the season.

It also wouldn’t surprise me If Chesterfield shape up next season and have a promotion push.

no one seems to want to win it up there. if anyone gets a good winning run it could be theirs for the taking. would really love to be in the position to beat salford and with that putting them 8th in the league after the final game of the season.

Rodney or Rooney not even on the bench ? If the results continue the Manager will be history I think.

I hope they go up as they will only throw more money at next season making the League even less of a level playing field financially. Get them out of the way.

We could do with the top four all going up to clear a path to the top for Pools next season :-) And then there'll be Chesterfield to worry about!

Havant and Waterlooville and Braintree Town, the only two part-time teams in the National League, are both nailed on to go down now. Looking at average gates in this division half the sides competing must be rich men's playthings, but it doesn't matter where the money comes from, this is a pig of a division to get out of.

Salford I can see ending up a Championship club in 5-10 years, it’s a competitive league nobody else has unnatural backing they have to sway things, if they don’t win it this year they will next. Best rid of them now. Our results against the ex league clubs seem to have been better since we went down than the plastics.

It’s not many more but there’s more than two part timers, I’m sure I read the other week Sutton United are and they seem to compete ok. I’d be surprised if Maidenhead were full time as well. But it’s true that people yacking on about us losing to part time clubs over the last two years has been usually wide of the mark.

I think halifax are part time too. in 2017 just over half were full time teams. I presume this figure has rose since we got relegated.

The information is surprisingly hard to find and isn't conveniently in one place but I spent an hour or so researching this the first time I posted that H&W and Braintree are the only part time sides and that is indeed the case.

If you or anyone else has got a spare hour feel free to check - going on the Sutton, Maidenhead and Halifax fan sites and asking them might be the quickest way.

This article is less than a year old and have seen no reports of Sutton going full time;

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.thegua ... pitch-snag

Halifax went full time at the beggining of this season.

Dover were part time going into this season, but went full time during it. Halifax were talking about full time this year. So when fans were banging on about losing to part time teams last year they were probobly right. Looks like a few made the switch this year.

Article from last season? Isn't there a bit more work to do to check that they didn't go full time over the summer? :-)

Wikipedia is not the best source but if they have gone full time it’s not been reported anywhere;

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_United_F.C.

Gateshead never went part time in the end.

Maidstone were full-time this season and are staying full-time next season in a bid to get back into the National League at the first attempt:

"Stop bickering everyone about prices! We are staying Full Time and expecting to bounce back straight to NL. For that supporters will have to pay a good rate. If we were going back to Part-Time and expecting to spend a few seasons re-grouping in NLS, yes, price reductions should be expected.....but we aren't, so you cant have it both ways!"

The two owners are interviewed on the club site saying they put an extra £200,000 into the club this season.
