I was reading in the local Sunday Sun, about Ferriby having all their points deducted, so had a look on the Web, and found out why.

I wonder how much that land is worth to build on?

I had to laugh at the owners wanting to change the name of North Ferriby to ‘East Hull’. Turns out North Ferriby is to the West of Hull, if the owners can’t get something as simple as that right, there’s not much hope for them.

I think that was Garforth Town wasn't it? Who wanted to be the second club for Leeds fans?

the previous owners wanted the club to move to the east of the city so thats why the name change. just another example of a team with no fanbase but having dosh thrown at it will never survive once the money runs out or results start going wrong for the side.

That’s the trouble, owners who think they can move a local club and make a bit more cash, taking their original fan base with them. It never works out like that. If Pools moved up to Durham, would I follow them up there? No.
