For all of you that are thinking about treating your mother for mothers day (a week Sunday - 31st March), The Floral Factor, based in Murray Street are giving away a free box of chocolates with every bouquet ordered before the end of Friday 29th March. It doesn't necessarily have to be your mother you treat. What about that loving partner who is the mother to your kids.

The girls at the Floral Factor are extremely helpful and professional (with over 20 years experience in the Floral industry) and can cater for all of your needs. They are a local business and as they say, its best to support the local businesses. They will be doing deliveries from 8am on mothering Sunday, so your own mother, or your partner could wake up to a lovely bunch of flowers (how much has Monkey just sang "lovely bunch of coconuts".... prevert).

you can just ignore it if you want its not compulsory like morrisons flowers are not also. my only gripe with mothers day was the flower prices seemed to rise for a week around the date and fall back again. my ma told me and my elder sister not to buy her flowers on mothers day for that reason.

What about men receiving flowers? I don't feel included.

I always send my non-binary parents flowers and aftershave on all special days. Flowers are sourced at whatever local business somebody on here suggests but I get the aftershave cheap at a seedy tobacco and booze supermarket on the Spanish border.
