I've just seen the photo of him whilst scrolling through Facebook, I thought he was a ballboy or mascot!

Looking like one of Michael Jackson's best mates didn't do Solskjaer any harm though.

Quote from The Mail,
‘After coming through Sunderland's academy, Bale was made captain of the Black Cats' under-23 side following his recovery from a serious knee injury’ ?

Hopefully not another crock, best of luck too the lad.

How long ago was he released? We've had him on trial twice now while no one else has signed him, maybe that's because league clubs can't sign him I don't know. The official site's description of him makes him sound like Fernandino though so we could be onto a winner!

like all new players its always a wait and see for me. all official site,s are the same and they are not going to say he,s crap but cheap.

Same, definitely have to give him at least the pre match warm up to judge him up since we don't have the luxury of a presason game to write him off!

Like all new signings I'm fully behind the lad, I'm not a huge fan of Featherstone and with new midfielders being brought in primarily for next season surely hints at the end of the road for him.

The website certainly put a little expectation on him by classing him as a tough tackling midfielder when we have not seen a single tough tackle all season.

watched 11 minutes but looks calm and tidy on the ball. Quite Featherstone-esque but able to tackle aswell.

Ged Mac obviously rates him and knows enough about the player and the National League to be a good judge of whether he can be a success with Pools.
