Just watching the Leeds v West Brom game and Albion’s away kit makes me feel nostalgic I remember seeing them play at St.James’s Park in about 1989 in exactly the same green and yellow striped kit, I even think Newcastle had a similar away kit themselves for a bit with a ‘Greenalls’ sponsor.

Back to Pools, yellow away kits are best for me, of the three promotions I’ve seen as a Pools fan two of those season have involved a yellow away kit, it’s a key to success for me.

Mind you West Brom have just gone 3-0 down but Leeds look pretty tasty.

Yellow away strip next season is a must though if we are serious about getting back up.

Don't mind the red kit to be honest. There was some analysis a few years back that said that sides playing in red were the most successful. Mind you that might have been before Ferguson retired!

The other two promotions were in red away kits I think.

How about a yellow and red hybrid!?

I still have a Pools away scarf from about 1976 which is green and yellow horizontal stripes. Bought it around the time we played Man City away in the cup.

My favourite away kit is the yellow and green one from the 'unbeatable' season. So many happy memories.

Close second is the red and black striped one. Can't put my finger on why, it is just classically timeless.

Wasn't it a Yellow kit we wore when we beat Sunderland at Roker Park when Brian Honour scored from a corner.

I loved the long-sleeved away shirts I had, with the yellow one from 92/93 with the Heritage Homes sponsor and the maroon one from about 5 or 6 years ago (LOG the sponsor), the ones that I loved the most.
