Surprised to hear Irish players apparently need international clearance to play in England. Last time I checked, the UK was still in the EU?

It's quite hard to follow his career to date too - the normally reliable Soccerbase is all over the place on him (19 goals in 22 games...in 5 seasons!)

This seems more plausible, unless its completely made up by someone on Football Manager:

He's apparently nearly 7 feet tall though and kneeling in the picture on the OS with Craig Hignett, so all good.

If I'm right you need international clearance to move from Scotland to England. It to do with moving from and too a different football association

Signing players now is a great idea. Getting them involved in training and matches ready for the start of next season and not having to wait till the season starts picking up the leftovers. UTP. rolf

He looks head and shoulders better than his teammates on that video.

It feels strange signing players when our season is effectively over, fully understand and back the club's logic in doing so though. They've got a few months to impress and settle in without any real pressure so will hopefully hit the ground running.

You even need international clearance if you sign players from Wales in the same league.

I did not know that. Presumably it's just a bureaucratic formality?

it gives someone a job at their sweet FA,s . a load of nonesence especially where wales are concerned. they will be bringing in a clearance being needed for signing a player say from harrogate because its a different county fa thats involved.

We need a wall to keep the Tykes out. And someone should make them pay for it!

Just noticed Hignett said he hopes to have 3 or 4 in before the end of the season and will look to add a few more then as well.
