Where is he?

He's not featured in a match day squad since the end of December, isn't listed as injured but didn't even make the squad last night against Shildon.

Granted when he has played he's been poor to rubbish, but I assume Pools are still paying his wages?

Might be one of those that leave us stating they have retired and then sign for someone else.

His name doesn't appear in the list of injured players in the Team News update on the OS before every game.

Yeah I checked the last one and it didn’t I must have just imagined it.

Anyone for making up some spurious nonsense to why he’s missing?

I heard he was eating a kebab using his shin pads as a pitta bread on the team bus.

He's in therapy trying to understand why Richard Money played him as a striker in the game at Gateshead.

He is a Freemason and is taking teddy bears round all the Hospitals. He was last seen in Cambridge.

I assumed that was McLaughlin.

The latest rumour I have about Newton is a bit close to bone (so to speak) so I’m going to use cryptic clues and jumble to order of words so I don’t end up in court;

Dog Madley he Hignetts on went Bobby.

He nicked a bone off Hignett's dog? Surely Pools can tear up his contract for that?

I’ll be disappointed if these don’t feature.
