Fantastic way of recognising what pools fans did, and a nice nod to fans of other clubs who turned out.

Shame the game was shite like last year

Brilliant - with Wrexham riding high it should boost away support too and generate a great atmosphere in the ground.

We'll probably get panned by Wrexham like, but it's nice that the club remember what was done even though Raj hadn't stepped up yet.

That lad who organised it should get an MBE or something, and that lass who raised all the money. People get them for less.

I wouldn't normally agree with giving boro fans MBEs but fair play to them.

You could be onto something there.

To be honest I’m not a moderator and have no desire to be but if someone wants to post on here just register under your normal user name. It’s an Internet forum FFS at the end of the day nobody has ever killed anyone. To constantly register just to try and wind people up is as about as pathetic as it gets especially in this instance when a) I can see nothing here to get wound up about and b) it’s obvious who they are anyway.

Please never censor it as it is quite funny, really sad all the same though. For people who hate the place they have had more usernames than Pools have had managers.

Yeah that’s the bit I don’t understand. Clearly hate the bunker. Which is fine. Then create multiple usernames with the intention of disrupting the place.

It’s an Internet forum.

That’s unbelievably sad.

Almost forgot this game was reduced till I seen the article this morning

Once again great gesture from pools to say thanks to the thousands who helped on that day last year.

If you do something out of kindness or love, should you really expect recognition a year later or just be proud you made a difference?
Asking for a friend!

Tell your friend if they got thanked at the time, they probably shouldn’t need to be thanked again.

Are people still wanting recognition for that? They got a thank you on the website at the time. Do they want a statue or something?

There's something funny going on here. No way has Monkeybutt got a friend, he must be asking for himself. In which case a statue of him downing a pint of warm milk while pocketing a stolen tenner would be ideal. Nice touch if it was also bending over to provide a canine licking opportunity. Some things should be remembered.

Obviously wish to see Pools beat Wrexham in front of a large crowd but wish Wrexham all the best after is it 10? seasons down here out of the football league? Would have been nice to see the Welsh club plus The O's and of course Pools go up but there you go. Next best thing for me would see those two go up this season and we join them next.

Just been looking online at the Wrexham game last year.

So much credit that I think doesn’t get said enough must go to the boro fans last year who really who got everything off the ground to help save the club last year.

The club should really thank them.

Maybe it was just sniffing in the way dogs do, then thought...no chance! :animals-dogrun:

I like the idea actually, it was an Alsation if you`re thinking of commissioning it, think Sumo wrestler for sizing, bald and above average penis length if it is a nude

Just speaking to my mate whose a boro fan. He was at the game last week and he said the atmosphere was class.

He’s a top boy at the boro and he was partly responsible for a lot of the organising of save pools day last season so I thanked him.

He said yknow what mate, no need to thank me, last thing I want here is a lot of thanking or patting on the back, no thanking me at all is needed here, Don’t mention me and certainly don’t thank, it was no problem. PLEASE DONT THANK ME.

Nice lad.

Thanks but even a massive, fat alsatian's penis length isn't important.

It was a chihuahua. It’s been given a false identity under a witness protection scheme.
