Whatever anyone thinks of Tommy Robinson his footage shows clearly that Panorama set out to create a decietful and contrived documentary by twisting statements and trying to convince people to lie on camera. This is a concerning expose on what is supposed to be a neutral broadcasting organisation.

I can't find the footage, where is it?

Think I rate this blokes account more highly than anything Yaxley-Lennon says but I'll wait and see the film before drawing any conclusions.

The trouble with that is that its an admission that you will ignore half the evidence in favour of someone you agree with. I'm not supporting TR but having viewed the footage it is clear that it was a stich up from the start. They wrote the summary then looked for a story to make it fit.

Not an admission of any such thing. I finished by saying I'd wait to see the film before drawing any conclusions. What I am saying is that until I've seen all of the relevant material I'd trust the Hope Not Hate bloke ahead of a nasty little racist scumbag like Robinson/Yaxley-Lennon. It is possible that the Panorama team weren't behaving properly in places though so I'd want to see the whole film and maybe read what gets said about it too. Certainly shouldn't have been necessary to stitch him up given his general conduct and the people he keeps company with.

Both sides need the oxygen of publicity. Ignore the whole thing an the horrible individual will hopefully disappear.
And the journo's will stop talking about themselves which is their favourite subject.

So back to the point of this thread. From what I've seen Panorama are making a documentary about SYL, he then recorded some bloke off it saying that the people who follow him are scum or something. SYL then released that as proof the entire BBC is corrupt... Some gammons cancelled their TV licence and no one in the real world cares.

I searched on google and found a load of articles that summarised what SYL had said and what was said by the other bloke. Seems the bloke had an opinion that was said off camera and SYL has said it's influenced a documentary that hasn't even been aired yet.

Seems like a pre-emptive defence/discredit by SYL which his followers have lapped up.

I've give his video a watch once I've watched the Panorama documentary and see if I thought the bloke's opinion contributed to the overall thing.
