We haven't a pot to piss in, we will be downsizing in every way, as will the town itself once Brexit kicks in, there is no money anywhere to suggest things will improve, they won't. Unless things drastically change of the pitch and unless the personnel are changed I cant see that it will , we will eventually become a club that yo-yos between the NL and NLN , like Barrow for example.
better to go with half the squad being part time along with the full timers. surely there are better local part time lads about than giving full time contracts out to sub standard players. even fitness could improve as part time teams do not look less fit than pools do.

We have to change the mentality first. The best part time players keep themselves fit in their own time, making them probably fitter and stronger than our lot. They are probably happier too, financially and spiritually if they have decent jobs like an electrician or teacher etc. You could make a better team than the one we currently have with the best part time players from the North East. The worrying thing is , the better Spennymoor and Blyth get, the more difficult it will be to attract these players. In non league terms the North East is doing very well, that would of been a boon for us had we still been in the FL, but makes it more difficult now we are down there amongst them. Also these clubs have officials again probably with good jobs, so money isnt the motive , working for the love of the club , whereas we have officials on high wages doing the same jobs.

Whatever else PJ might or might not be guilty of he deserves a medal if he abused that reactionary piss-stained old tramp thoroughly enough to trigger further physical decay.

So how long do you’s think Raj is going to keep funding us before he thinks this isn’t enough this isn’t going anywhere? I mean respect to the man in the first place he saved our club along with Geoff but there’s only so much money he can put in before he thinks, Enough is enough I’m off, I mean he’s a buisiness man and afterall buisiness men are in the game purely to make money, Then if he does go and has had enough we will be back to being potless and players and staff not being payed again and looking for a buyer for our club where to be honest I don’t think they will be that many offers, Hopefully Raj is here long enough to get us back in the Football League.

I am looking forward to the smirk on Raj's face when we are in the play off final for the championship again.

The place is descending into a self fulfilling football depressive’s version of porn. Aroused uncontrollably by the thought of failure.

However, I have an answer.
My £123,456,789. 42p Rockall Lottery winnings will be arriving soon and I’ll buy the club.
I will convene a conference of invited board prophets, experts and visionaries on board my new yacht in the deep water berth. We will sail into the bay to discuss the way forward for the club in privacy.
I will leave the yacht on the pilot boat just past the Heugh breakwater. All my guests will be entertained by my hospitality staff ( ex Ukranian special forces) and treat to a 5 year around the world cruise just off the Humber near the Imminghsm oil refinery. There will be no WiFi so my guests will have to amuse themselves with an old Monopoly set.

You couldn't run to a new Monopoly set with your lottery money. Tight get.

In one paragraph, you managed to describe the theoretical descent of the club into oblivion. Based on what? I don’t understand posts that dwell on the worst case scenario and if it’s any consolation you aren’t alone.
My reply was light hearted.

Watch it or you’ll be barred for this life and the next when I take over.
Admittedly after a fortnight I’ll be the only person in the ground, but what the hell.
