Looks a difficult game on paper, but with the anticipated Hignett bounce, who knows, this game will give us more of an indication of where we are at , than a home win v a side bottom of the league.

I would take a draw now.

3-2 defeat
Kabamba 47
1250
125 poolies

1-2 win
Kabamba & James

Jellied Eels instead of Steak Pies

2-1 1-2 , the football equivalent these days, of a safety shot in snooker in regard to Pools. Two one always a good shout, and was my preferred prediction before Xmas, however not now without Noble in midfield. A lot will rest on the performance of Raynes on Saturday, though I think in terms of scoring goals , we are getting there, we may even get 3 goals in a game before long.

Mrs Hartleblue takes Mr Hartleblue shopping for a new pair of idiot mittens.

Pools win 3-1 with goals from Luke James, Karamba and Magnay.

1,160 with 92 Poolies. I'm swerving it to watch England run riot in Dublin.....................

Forecast rain later on Friday and early Saturday, so freezing shouldn't be the problem , but may suit both clubs to have it called off.

In my opinion we looked a bit flat against rock bottom off the league Braintree on Saturday and if it wasn’t for the penalty we would off drew we didn’t create nothing, I believe Ebbsfleet will prove to much for us and I can see us conceding a couple id go 3-1 to Ebbsfleet, Kabamba with our goal, Plus they are still in with a shout for a playoff position so I imagine they will want it more, So long as we finish mid table I’m not arsed it’s a rebuilding job here at pools it will be another 2-3 seasons before we start pushing for the playoffs at least, Anyways I’ll be there cheering the lads on.

The pitch must be frozen solid already for them to call a pitch this early so I don’t think they are probably too hopeful the time of the inspection will be centered around what time Pools are planning on travelling. I doubt postponement suits us you don’t want to be making that sort of journey midweek.

As suspected, game off. That sort of early inspection when the away team is travelling a long distance usually means one thing.
