AFC Telford United have completed the permanent signature of striker Marcus Dinanga who has been on loan from Burton Albion.
No wonder he didn’t do so well here playing for 2 clubs

Who is it we play in the FA Trophy next week? though he is cup tied by all accounts, which is a shame as he was that bad even he couldn't follow in the footsteps of all the ex players who generally score against us.

‘by all accounts’

Do you not remember slagging off the kid based on highlights of his performance at Leamington in the FA Trophy? It was only a few weeks ago! So yes he is cup tied.

It didn’t work out for him at Pools maybe he wasn’t what we needed right now but he wasn’t helped by not really getting a proper chance or run of games he hardly had any time on the pitch especially early season. You never know an early goal and more opportunity and things could have worked out differently. Good luck to him in the future.

I really don’t get the mentality of slaughtering young lads trying to make a way in the game. Was his attitude bad? Did he not try his best? I’m not sure anyone saw enough to say quite how ‘bad’ he was really so if the answer to those two questions is no I don’t think he deserves any clog.

Different fans will always have different views on how good or bad a player is.
Dicky Dosh didn't rate him and that's good enough for me.
There will be a few more leaving in May who aren't good enough.

His loan deal expired it was always highly unlikely that Money was going to keep him or the kid from Boro beyond that he probably wants as much in the budget as possible to sign a couple of his own players and to have a look at the striker we had out on loan.

Neither are what we need right now, but that doesn't mean they are bad or won't have success in the future. The vast majority of loan signings at lower league and national league level are youngsters who don't make much of an impact with the move being more beneficial to the player than loaning club. You can see why Pools took a punt on Dinanga though after has goals in the two previous seasons.

Telford are in a play off place in the National League North so he could get two chances to prove certain fans wrong as early as next season.

Like you say, there's nothing wrong with his attitude and he has done very well for Telford in the past - but they are a whole division below the mighty 'Artlepool, so obviously his form for them counts for nowt.

I said he would be shite and he was, Horden calls it right again, get over it. He didn't get a run of games, and yes if he had and scored earlier on he may of been a success , but the fact he didn't do that was because we had a shite manager, another one I called right when he was appointed at end of last season. I haven't slagged Harvey Rodgers off, why ? because I rate him.

Get over what!? Your misplaced ego?

People who talk in the third person are funny, posting in it on a message board is taking things to a whole new level

New Year same old shit from PJ. Look, I know there isn't a lot to do in Doha, but you really must get over your preoccupation with putting me down. If you don't I will just put you back on ignore. That would be a shame as I value your opinion, although clearly you disagree with most of what I have to say. Unlike you I am tolerant of others point of view. Its your call, I really don't mind either way, but one thing I am not doing in 2019 is indulging you on this board.

I don’t have a preoccupation with putting you down I think the points I raised are fair and valid in my original couple of posts. You are the one who gets personal (again), starts resorting to insults (not this time yet it would be next) and goes off on a rant telling everyone you are always right. If someone aimed the same at you the reaction would be comedy gold. Get over yourself for once it’s only football we are talking about! The preoccupations on this forum seem to be with me, I can’t post these days without shite like this.

Well, it didn't take long for the board to descend again to an 'I am always right/I must have the last word' slag fest. Dinanga may have been criminally under used but also didn't look particularly good. There, it's possible to see both sides.

I totally agree but I don’t think my posts that provoked this reaction are unbalanced or unfair either way. The World isn’t black and white most things talked about on here are subjective, nobody is always right.

Well said.

Terrible to admit to it but I find the dialogues/ exchanges on the Darlo and Heed boards to be (usually - everyone has a share of knobheads) interesting, sometimes educational and generally respectful. The discussions on these boards about funding, ownership, squad strengths and weaknesses, etc. put some of the stuff on here to shame.
