Please bates revert back to 532 with muir / dinanga up top the rest of the team picks its self.

Like me and many other people accept the standard of football we are playing at present is unacceptable so lets just bore the life out of them and try and nick a goal and just hope lady luck is with us.

I woudnt mind a cup run get into the third round and get a glamour tie against a premier league club, Decent vic attendance 7000 plus we ain't seen that in a fair few years and some decent prize money/coverage money.

Someone on a message board who calls everyone but can't possibly handle anyone else's opinion - massive shock that.

I reckon this is going to be a very low attendence maybe 1500.
A lot of people i know made their mind up after the Sunday match.
The management took my advice to pick up more red and yellow cards but went OTT. :shifty:

I also predict that two balls will be lost tomorrow; when my presently "intact" dog leaves the vets he will be looking for them!

If you take him to Clarence Road you can reunite him with them. He may resemble Buster Gonard after! :animals-dogrun:

I'm going.

Reason - had a weekend at the races at Punchestown (lovely course and great weather) and only saw the back end of the Barnet game in a sports bar in Dublin.

Prediction - it'll be cold, but shouldn't be too hard to get parked.

Pools 0 Gills 2. 1,600. Gills 56. Cold. Hope the last bit of my prediction is the only right one. On the other hand...Pools 10 Gills 1 and Luke James gets his wish to be top scorer as he gets 7. Boy this export ale is mighty strong.

Pools: Loach, Richardson, Davies, Magnay, Kitching, Donaldson, Noble, Featherstone, McLaughlin, Dinanga, James.
Subs: Catterick, Anderson, Kioso, Newton, Hawkes, Muir, O’Neill.

Magnay and Davies were always going to be in.

Why do we bother. All the controversy again involving the officials. Makes you wonder.
I think bowls is beckoning.

It 100% wasn't a free kick. Still, we defended it poorly.

Yes, the pelanty was given in the 95 minute of the 4 minutes added time. I reckon he added the extra minute on for Loach’s embarrassing time wasting.

Well I actually think we played well tonight and was gutted when they got that penalty as the players had worked really hard and deserved to go through. Gillingham only have one way to play with long diagnol balls to eaves and we dealt with it all game. That was a right kick in the teeth for them to equalise with the last kick, not sure if it was a pen as I couldn't see but a shame for magnay as he was great all game. If only we could get that effort in league games we would be doing much better.

After 94 mins I thought we've done it.
Would even take anutha replay v Slough.
Thru to round 3 and 90k prize money in the bank plus a good 3rd round draw and there's funds there for next season.

How much bad luck we have is unreal.
When will it ever end?

The players couldn't have done more over the 90+ minutes - the bastad equalizer was like living through the Doncaster game all over again.

I'm only sorry I let the cold and frustration get to me - walked after their fourth and missed young O'Neill's goal.

Disgusted but not surprised to see there were a couple on here gloating as soon as Gillingham got back into it.

Yeah, we walked after the 4th. Good to see a striker has scored at last.

Where was Kioso who has been our most consistent player this season, barring the mistake which led to barnets 2nd on Sunday?
