I was standing near the players tunnel waiting to cross to the other side of the Cyril Knowles just before kickoff when I overheard a young steward talking to a bloke in his 40s/50s who I think he must have known. Anyway he was saying the amount of stewards and bar staff etc was nowhere near the amount needed for the game. He then said it was because the wages day for all staff including players / management had not taken place on 25th October but instead was moved to the end of October. The next comment was " we are only weeks away from the bailiffs coming in " which sent a cold shiver down my spin even though he was probably just pissed off and talking sh*t for some reason.
Do not shoot the messenger I am simply telling you what I overheard....And although it makes no sense to me and normally I would ignore it ...It got me thinking during the game and results have been terrible of late but surely he was talking sh*t.

Thats impossible as there is no current legal action. Bailiffs can only act on behalf of a court, they have no power without a court order.

Basically, in the absence of a county or high court order the bailiffs cannot have been instructed therefore its nonsense.

Sure the comment was aimed at the steward who twilight zone himself said he'd heard the rumour from. Jeebus wept, even my Mrs' tantrums aren't that bad.
