We at the moment have 28 points after 19 games. This time last year Tranmere had 27 points after 19 games and were outside the playoff places. Some Tranmere fans were calling for Micky Mellon to be sacked. And yet Tranmere turned it around, won the playoff final with ten men and are now fourth in League Two.

In other words our situation can be overcome. It's not impossible.

Tranmere a much stronger team/squad than ours. A slow start but their quality got them over the line in the end. More chance of Chesterfield getting promoted than us.

I would agree even if you were tongue in cheek about Chesterfield.

150/1 to get promoted with Sky Bet has to be worth a few quid!

Big difference between us and tranmere of last season is they had Cook and Norwood who scored loads between them, 46 in total and I’m not sure we’ll score that many as a team.
Plus just after we drew 1-1 at the Vic they went on a great run of winning games, 9 consecutive home wins......we’ve won 7 of 19 this season. Not good enough
