Cagey Cagey game this one, (Yeah another One) It isn't going to be plain sailing, I think if get the first goal we NEED to push and push for a other one or two and finally see the game theough, I'm surprised Bates didn't start with Dunanga last week and drop James,Well drop James rest him so to speak we also should off Started with Hawkes and rested Noble, Noble been the Character he is he would off been dying to prove Bates a point this week against Sutton, I think Bates missed a few tricks last week against Kidsgrove, Also I've noticed that he's a manager that doesn't like to chop and change does he? He likes to keep things as they are doesn't he I don't think I've seen him make a sub past the 75 minute.

Anyway I think Sutton with the first goal theyll get the crowd frustrated, Then we come back with a victory, Noble With the winner and gives his terrible new hair do the credits it deserved, for winning the game, 6 pointer in a way this as the current table stands!8

Expecting a tough game against a big physical team in what could be difficult conditions weather wise. We will have to be on our game to get a result here. As usual they're there for the taking if we play to our strengths against 2 big lumbering centre backs , susceptible to pace and liable to gave away free kicks and penalties. Play to their strengths and we know what's coming. I hope my forecast is proved to be wrong , as we need to get a run going instead of this stop, start , stop , start all the time. Big 3 games coming up.

1-2 defeat

1 - 1. Ref sends a Poolie off (again). 2885. 56 Sutton fans that are mostly on the same train as me. Steve McLaren on same train but probably going to Smogs vs Rams.

Sutton won't like it - too cold and wet.

Their lumbering centre halves won't be able to cope with our silky passing play - avoiding hoof ball as our players are bright enough to know that it is too windy and their players are taller than ours. We'll torture them down the flanks, getting quick ball into the centre for Cassidy.

Oh, hold on.......back to reality

Pools 0 Sutton 2

2,788, 84 from Sutton.

Booing at half time, when James gets hooked for Anderson, and again at the end.

(Mind, I'm going to the bookies on the way there to put a fiver on a 4-0 home win and another five on a James hat-trick)

Didn't bother posting after last week's debacle as many others covered all the points that I would have made. How times change!

Anyway it's back to business against a useful Sutton side. I doubt that one goal will be enough to get anything out of this game.

2-2 Muir & Noble

Poor first half but I'm enjoying listening the second 45 minutes so far. 2-1 up and sounding like we've got the whip hand.
