Our lass got a 65inch tele and it looks hideous in her house. IMO Get a tv that big and you need to buy a bigger house to match. Each to their own, but a step too far for me, it will kill the cinema off.

I agree with Horden, people only go to the cinema for the novelty of seeing a giant tv.

I got a Hisense 50 incher only £399 from Argos with freeview play smart netflix etc etc etc.
Very good and unless you have a massive room its all you need but its up to you.

I rarely watch it and prefer my 30 year old Roberts radio which i bought from a shop in Bala.

Probably being a bit snobby but I wouldn't have a hi-sense or hitachi given to me. They're awful. I got my 50" 4k LG from Currys for £600, it's far better than the budget brands I looked at.

I would personally go to a shop and look at the Televisions that are on, decide what has the best picture to me, make a note and try and find it cheaper elsewhere.

The best Tellys (showing my age there) with good picture resolution I have seen are Samsung, LG, Philips, in no particular order.

That's fine but they fanny on swapping the quality of hdmi leads to get you to buy what they want to sell at the time.
