Would be okay if the club says put a fiver for everyone in including kids (It won't happen like),We might aswell try and get a bumber crowd for the FA cup 4th QuAlifying round, Theyll 100% be change or 4 from Bates I imagine Dinunga coming in Luke James Getting A Rest, Hawkes coming in for Featherstone, Richardson for Donaldson ,Give Kioso a rest (He deserves it) Its the managers chance to try out different players and see how they do... I think Muir could do with a rest as well then get all the players that have been rested here get them going for Sutton and Wrexham.

Thought and opinions folks good and bad?!?!?

Fiver to get in is silly , a tenner is about right. The crowd for this was never going to be great whatever the price. I agree more people spend more money on food etc but would never of been much over 3000 even if a fiver , so extra few hundred spending money on food / drinks would of been seriously offset by money lost reducing if from 10 to 5 for the other 2500. I reckon crowd of between 2500 and 2800.

think 2500 would be a good crowd especially if there is a hint of changes in the side from bates. not travelling 170 odd miles round trip to see a part reserve side playing butchers, bakers and postmen giving pools a kicking with another poor shit kid in a black uniform in the middle cocking things up.

Us three are making the two hundred mile round trip to support the team and the club.
Mr Singh and his consortium threw a lifeline to our club a few short months ago so we are supporting that where we can. We are also supporting the FA Cup and what it means to little clubs.
I am looking forward to a few more opportunities to support the club in the FA Cup and to support Mr Singh in his endeavour.
We all want the clubs finances to improve in order that the team can be strengthened. The FA Cup is an opportunity to swell the coffers so attending Cup games and getting behind the team is a no brainer.
So let's do it.

Out of interest I've just had a look at the Kidsgrove website and (unless I'm blind) there is not one mention of the game. It's not even on the fixture list!!! I don't think they will be swelling the crowd sctatchinghead

So what you’re saying is I may struggle to shift the 1,000 Hartlepool / kidsgrove half n half scarves I’ve ordered?

Boro are away on Friday so hopefully some of their fans will attend as they will want to suss out the future opposition after we beat Kidsgrove then Blunderland then draw Boro.

Moved to accommodate the cameras as the BBC will want Pools versus the Mackems on live (unless there's a more attractive fixture if the offing, like Salford v Portsmouth, Salford v Charlton, Salford v Plymouth Argyle...). Shearer will come into Pools' dressing at half time to tell us how to beat them and Liam Noble will tell him to fuck right off, earning the gratitude of a nation.

That random right back we got on loan from Boro under Cooper who never played a single minute is probably more likely to appear than Williams.

I think I was the only one warning about Luke Williams injury record at Scunthorpe amid all the euphoria when he was signed. To be fair to the lad, let's see how it goes when he recovers from this operation.

When he does finally start a game, if he lasts 20 minutes and gets another injury fans are entitled to think he's the latest in the Stuart Parnaby - Luke George tradition of Pools chucking money away on complete crocks.

Agreed. I've always argued that players with frequent injuries should be humanely put to sleep. That might seem harsh but if we did it, while also shooting players who looked shit in friendlies straight after we sign them, we'd have a leaner, cheaper squad and could also reduce the spending on physios.

Never thought of that but you're right.
We should have a totting up procedure with different levels of punishment, varying from public floggings, amputations and balls nailing to the goalposts to executions on the pitch at half time. The ultimate punishment could be making them watch Darlo.

Could we take out life insurance on them first? Could be a right little earner for the club.

:-) Luke is still a young lad, unlike the other two, so maybe it'll all come right. Hope so!

I'm definitely going, we should smash them all over, will be interesting to see what changes he makes.

That being said, a foregone conclusion = paralytic by half time.
