[quote="dstanley"]I suspect that after 45 minutes, most opposition have worked out that we offer such a feeble goal threat that they fancy their chances of a result and give it a go.
rarely scoring more than one and a good defence that always concede one goal makes it easy for the opposition manager. they know their chance will come during the second half and i think a lot of us can see it coming.

There certainly has been a pattern to home games this season.

Our away form has been fantastic. Even at Salford we matched them all the way for an hour.

I will give an example of where I believe that things must change. At home, if we concede a goal after 75 minutes drawing the game, last season every point was priceless and holding on to what we have by putting on an extra defender was the right thing to do. This season we have a better squad capable of a play off spot and under the same circumstances I would like another striker brought on with a view for going all out for a win.
True we may occasionally lose but we need home wins to stay in contention for a play off place. Failure to adopt a positive attacking game at the Vic will lead to the solid middle of the table consolidation spot for which many have settled.
