After about six games Bates said we were due to have a big score as we were creating so many chances. Well it hasn't happened yet but have a feeling it is today.

3-0 to Pools
Muir, James, Kioso to score.
Gate 3333 with 80 visitors.

1-0, goal by a striker so if we win it will actually count!

Awful performance, if Bates thinks we are still overachieving, as reported in the mail then he needs his head looking at. I would not like to watch us under achieving. If it wasn’t for 3 or 4 top class saves from Loach then that would have really been embarrassing

Looked like half of our team had run a marathon the day before or something. Just didn’t look sharp at all.

I liked the team on paper, no issue with the shape either. But for some reason at home we only seem to play with a bit of tempo in a handful of spells each game, even less so today. I just don’t get it - we have players who can do it but there seems to be some barrier stopping them

That's why John Joyce built a big house in Elwick Road next to the park and I live in a caravan at Crimdon.

Team looked flat. Need a few sharpeners tonight so the performance will be better against Boreham to improve my matchday experience.
Chips 5/10.
