I'm starting to warm to Fuckingtonne, another cracking goal.

Noble is exactly what we've needed for years, someone with a bit of character and a debatable mental state! One of my favourite players for while.

Always been a great player despite what the usual Facebook fucktards think. They will no doubt move onto someone else soon, probably McLaughlin.

Maybe the people who've been slating him for seasons will finally realise that he's a good player who makes us tick and now that he's got some decent players in around him rather than shite we can see the best of him

If he could just cut out the lapse in concentration when he gets caught napping, he would be playing higher so we put up with the odd snafu.

Noble is a class act  I have never ever seen any player celebrate like he did against Halifax after scoring a penalty "a true and genuine top class professional" with a real love for the fans and the club. For me he should be captain because he leads by example " this lad loves football and Hartlepool United" and is a real true passionate player who always gives 110% and loves to win and hates to lose. For me is the main cog in this Hartlepool United wheel and the most passionate player to pull on the blue n white shirt for many years if not the most ever. Hope he can stay injury free because with him we have a great chance of winning promotion and possibly the title. In any level of football you need winners and thank 4ooook we have Noble who for me is the best signing in many years.

Read it again “if not the most ever” is the actual clue

For me is the main cog of the Hartlepool United wheel and the most passionate player to pull on the blue n white shirt for many years if not the most ever! I agree about Jacky and the likes of keith Knobbs / Darren Knowles / Joe Allon & many more. But its my own opinion that Noble is one of the most passionate players if not the most passionate player to wear the shirt in my time of watching Pools over the many years. Its football we all have different views of players etc.

Don’t get me wrong, Noble is certainly a passionate player but I think it’s a bit premature to say the most passionate ever. Let’s look at this again when he has put in as many passionate performances as jacky did over such a long period and as many games.

How do we measure passion? Surely we need someone Welsh as they have plenty of expertise in this area.

Monkeybutt is sadly the closest we have but he's passionate about bread, dogs and awful banter.

He's been here a few months, are we really using the word passionate? He appears unhinged to me, can we say he's unhinged about Pools?

Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking Noble's impact on the team here but saying he's passionate about Pools is a bit naïve, I think he's been 'passionate' like this at every club he's ever been at. It's just the way he plays, he's passionate about Liam Noble it seems to me but like I say he is exactly what the team needed a right narky wind up merchant with a horrible will to win.

As this thread has ended up about Noble is anyone apart from me and Tree going to give Featherstone some praise which was what the thread was started about?

Got to disagree Yloop. Yubep is a fine poster and seems to know the game but he is not even close to being our best footballer.
