Excellent but strangely worrying. Is this the new 2-0?

Maybe not, or is 2-0 up against 9 extra dangerous?

Has anyone whinged that it's out midfielders who have scored and not our strikers?

No but now you mention it if they can't score against nine players we'll get points docked.

Hopefully the statisticians at the National League don't know that penalties don't count.

Yes that was a very good game to win from such a dangerous position.
I presume their consolation goal came from a LDB?

Dunno, but seen as it finished 1-2 against a team with nine men and one of our goals was a pelanty, this result should really be classed as a draw

There are only five teams in the league with a better goal difference than us.

Oh! I blame the strikers.

If the strikers were doing their jobs we’d be top of the league. Discuss.

Oooooh, hark at her...... I do beg your pardon, however still doesn't detract from the fact this board has c.unts who c.unting whinge if we won the FA cup, it's surely a Hartlepool thing, must be, bleating for the sake of it

So Talbot you are satisfied with the season so far and don’t think it could be better? Glass is half full.

If it wasn't for Matty Bates we'd already be mathematically assured of promotion.

I would have taken 10th at the start of the season. If we get in the play offs I'll be buzzing. The fact we're pushing the top 3 is brilliant so far as I am concerned.

Yeah but phil if our strikers scored more we’d be in the champions league

Aim higher

First half we gave a performance that will put a fear into the rest of the league, second half 2 up and we eased off allowing a unmerited goal from them, we could have been 5 or 6 up if the right ball had been played when we camped in their box.
Great atmosphere and enjoyed watching a pools team playing a lot better away from home than at home.
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip

think with the players and formation pools use they are set up to play better away . at home they have to contend with 10 men behind the ball and find it difficult to break sides down without an obvious target man like eastleigh had. i too enjoyed my 20 minute trip. roll on tuesday night. that will be a real test against fc plastic money bags.
