From what I've read it improved from awful beyond belief to simply bad.

First half was like having your balls sand papered the second half was like you'd just stopped having your balls sand papered...but it still hurt like hell!!!

....welcome to the National League.

Often the way with Allen sides though isnt it - 3 wins to start with then what was it 6 losses once the effect of simply shouting at your players has worn off?

Totally time for Allen to do something inspirational and double hard like swim across a cold river.

That should sort his shit defense out.

See he’s signed that giant carthorse Denton who used to play for Halifax so seemingly he’s reverting to total football in an attempt to halt the slide.

I have sort of been an advocate of getting an experienced Conference manager since we went down but it must be massively depressing being a Chesterfield fan right now when you have someone like him basically turning you into a clogging non league team before your eyes. They will probably do alright by the end of the season but still I am pleased we have avoided reverting to type.

I think they'll do alright when Allen leaves. Looks like a busted flush.

There's quite a few on here advocated him getting the 'Pools job over the years

He's a useless 'lovely lovely person' now and has always been so
