Transfers this summer!

Is it my Undetstanding that we have actually paid money for transfers this summer? I've read that we paid A small fee for Niko Muir and we have paid money for Luke jame to? I didn't know either that Muir netted 32 times in the league for Hendon in the ismian league I hope he's a striker like that lad at Cheltenham who they plucked from non league. Anyway hats off to Raj if we have actually invested properly this season and have started "buying" players even if they are small fees, It's a step forward in the right direction at least the board are showing they care and want to get the club back where we belong, Unlike them other robbing fuckers who drained our beloved club dry!

Small fees are no fees as far as I'm concerned. Why no transparency? why not state the actual price? When we paid 5k for Bob Newton in 1977 I knew the board meant business. We still finished in the bottom four like in 77/78

Because it doesn’t make any business sense for either club at a lower level to make transfer fees public. Surely you can see that?

Not really an answer PJ my friend. The fact that it was 41 years ago doesn't make telling the truth outdated. I think the reality is we probably paid jack shit for these players and give them silly 3 year contracts to make up for what we haven't paid for them or are paying them. So if that is the case , little has changed.

Most transfers at all level this days are announced as undisclosed, for the reasons PJ states.

It’s mainly the papers that state the price

I would have thought you would have been all for transparency from the club owners after your recent history. Add to the fact you have a chairman who has a track record of misleading fans of another club over his so called "investment" not being loans.
