Any in the area will pick up stuff for free?

We recently moved. Old couple who lived here didn't want their white goods. We have no need for them.
Can't be bothered to get them to the tip, and council charge.

Don't know any that would do it for free, they'll probably charge you. I'd just drive into the countryside at night and shot it into a ditch by the road...... Problem solved!

Depending on where you live they will magically disappear in doublecquick time just by leaving them on your drive. There are a few scrap collectors regularly touring the town in Transit pickups.

Agree entirely. The fun thing is to have a sweep on the number of minutes it takes for the items to "disappear". My best time for the scrap fairies to land was 30 minutes after the old washer had been left on drive.
They will not now take fridges due to laws regarding CFC disposal so best take that down to council tip or they can collect and pay a few quid.
