Are you sure that was yesterday? I could swear I saw Mike Proctor playing for them.
On second thoughts it can't have been him or we'd have won 2-1 (Proctor o.g.)

It must have been busy in the showers after the 60th minute.

I thought it was a very good run out for 60 minutes it becomes a bit of a nonsense after 10 subs though! I thought the three at the back looked good, Davies was the classiest player on the pitch for either side, Magnay played very well at centre back and I was very impressed with Kitching at left wing back. Richardson got forward well from the other side but lacked a bit composure when in good positions on a couple of occasions. Noble got stuck in, Muir took his goal very well he never looked like missing once he was through. He’s strong and quick that’s for sure. The equaliser was a bit of a shame really and should have been saved really but it doesn’t really count for or mean anything.

Nice but logical to see Jack Ross involved in the Neale Cooper tribute.
Though to be honest I'm surprised he's still at Sunderland.

Like the idea of Muir and James up front. Muir for top scorer and wouldn't be surprised if James was up there for assists.

Disappointed with the attendance more so as a tribute too Neale Cooper, England were playing but it was meaningless game.

Nearly 4,000 against League One opposition on a Saturday while England are playing a World Cup game isn’t too bad at all Darlo only got 1,300 against them the other night.

On the Neale Cooper tribute I thought it was brilliantly done, a real classy and fitting mark of respect I had a lump in my throat.

According to the official site 3734 there 2233 Sunderland fans meaning only 1500 Pools supporters, I don’t see that as much of a tribute too Neale Cooper considering the number of season tickets that have been sold.

Personally I don't get why they didn't save it for the first game of the season, when it would have been much better attended.

Would have made more sense to have the tribute when there are going to be Pools fans in the stand.

How was the organisation of the "match experience" like in terms of buying tickets on the day programmes and catering etc etc like like?

I wasn’t there as I am abroad, it’s not a criticism of the tribute, it is the turnout, yes it brought a lump to my throat even though I only watched the highlights.

It was ok, plenty of people getting chips at £2.50 a tray.
