I see the salford love in, has reached new heights already before a ball has been kicked. First of all live on tv against orient well that wasnt set up by the computer was it? Now live for a pre season friendly against fleetwood. Has to be some sort of sick joke showing a non league team in a friendly.

top of my hate list before the season begins. all to do with the crass of 92 as they are called. hope we can spoil some party for their 100 or so that turn up at the vic. in april. cannot wait for april 27th. all clubs are equal apart from salford in the eyes of the media.

Probably also to do with Joey Barton being the manager of Fleetwood as well. Guaranteed they will have the most fixtures on TV this season.

You think he'll last the full season?

I meant Salford to have the most TV fixtures.

Don't think Barton will last the full season, can see him falling out with players and probably gone by Christmas.

Has their crappy little ground been improved, or is it still just grass behind one of the goals ?

The ground looks decent now, neat and tidy.

I don’t really have a problem with Salford they get decent crowds, the owners seem to want to do things the right way. They’ve ever scattered the couple of nightclub doormen who were managing them!

Fleetwood had better hope they get the right results or Barton will kick their fucking heads in.

the ground has improved a lot since pools played em. same problem with parking though and even a tuesday night fixture means get there early as parking is a nightmare if you do not fancy a long walk.

Looking forward to it, staying over, few drinks in Manchester , stop off somewhere daft like Huddersfield the next day. The ground is in the middle of nowhere like, not even in Salford, taxi ride from Manchester or Salford stations or 3 mile walk.

if you are not going by car X43 bus is your best bet from manchester piccadilly bus station and even then you,ll have a bit of a walk. nowt around the ground either except for residents only parking restrictions.

They have done a lot to the ground in short space of time, still work in progress.

Probably visit a couple of pubs around Salford Central then get a taxi to ground.

I find Harrogate okay, decent enough ground, easy to get to, and a few decent pubs not far away.
