I think Pools are missing a trick if they don’t extend the early bird offer. With England progressing in the World Cup footballs profile will never be higher than it is now and we should look to capitalise on it and extend it until the end of the tournament.

As per usual Pools do not have any commercial planning. I suggested about a month ago opening the Victoria Lounge for the world cup games it did not happen. Fleetwood did just that and had over 800 people attended think of the possible bar takings on such a gathering. Also by public demand bring back the CHIPS. Why not have hot pie on sale in all the bar outlets.
If as was said the season tickets prices will increase slightly why bother with the increase at all?
I hope the numbers being given as sold does not include the free under 12s season tickets!!!

It just doesnt make sense to end it so early, we have only made signings in the last few weeks, england could potentially win the world cup. We are also missing 400 to 500 sales from last year who paid full price who could still be tempted to get one. End it now sell another 150, keep it going sell another 750.

How are we missing 400 to 500 sales from last year? We have exceeded the season tickets sold from last year, I know some of them are free kids but do you think none of these kids had season tickets last year?

yeah i'm sure quite a few did but haven't we given something in the region of 500 to 600 under 12 tickets out so far? thats a hell of a lot. Still magnificent support and a great offer. I still think if we had let the deal run longer we would get well over 3000 maybe 3500.

We could reach 3,000 today. I think we should extend until the end of next week though without a doubt with all this coming home talk flying about!

A lot of shift workers will have had to wait until today before they knew how many home games they are able to get to, and whether it's worth their while buying an ST. It doesn't give them very long.

I'm a shift worker and I am a bit pissed off at the amount of games that I will have to miss next season, including both Gateshead games. But I still bought my ticket last week knowing that I was going to miss some games. I would guess that most people will want to back the new owners even if they are going to miss some games.

I get to about 15 home games a season because of some weekend work commitments, but the early bird is a decent deal even if you're missing games.

I bet Pools find a way of extending the offer - they usually do!

Anybody know the total ST as at 4pm yesterday.
I also think the early bird offer should be extended.

2,800 which is pretty brilliant considering the amount of shit and turmoil that Pools have served up in recent years, it's like Poolies have adopted the Dell Boy approach 'This time next year Rodders' We live in hope!

That original £100 season ticket deal has worked fan base wise as it created a culture of being a season ticket holder, I imagine lots of supporters who had never had a season ticket before have always had one since. The year before that we were getting worse crowds than last season in League One, I remember a Tuesday night when we beat Charlton 2-1 in front of just 2,100. Put together a winning team and the floating fans will return as well, the Town just needs something get behind and results that match the support.

They closed on 2800
Does that total include the free ones i dont know how ever if your giving something free you haven't actually sold it plus i dont think pools would want to pay VAT on something they have given away for free ?

Not convinced that the floating fans will ever buy season tickets. When you work on container ships, oil tankers or even ferries you just can't get to enough matches to justify it.

SPACE POOLIES would look great on a flag for any away matches you could get to though.

Mr Twilight will be on soon saying it is easy to beam down and that there is usually a fair sized but low profile space contingent at matches anyway. They use duts to hide their antennas.

Possibly some of the Clangers attend away matches as i am sure i heard them speak.

Sadly their creator Peter Firmin died a few days ago. :sci-fi-beamup:

Floating fans might be tempted if the club produced a ticket that allows attendance at ten matches randomly at a discount of say £3 or £4 a match.
Anything to boost revenue/attendances and get the Vic rocking.
Especially if they could get chips.
Speeding the catering and drinks services would be a big help towards more revenue.
The biggest help of all would be home wins.

good idea for exiles and those who cannot attend regularly due to work and other commitments.
