It’s a bit harsh on Conference players to call Harrison one.

I know it’s exciting news but how do you manage to post the same topic three times!?

It amazes me another pro club would take him, he's an absolute liability.

Yep. The Falkirk boss says they've signed a 'no nonsense' defender - pity he's a no sense defender too, but they say God loves a trier and Harrison is that for sure. Best of luck to him.

According to the Falkirk Herald, we have payed them a 100K for them to sign Harrison from us !

Wasn't it Hignett who reinstated Harrison after the club released him initially and then gave him a 2 year contract ?

He signed a new contract when Dave Jones was here - assuming Higgy gave him a one year deal and then he signed a two year extension

Good luck Scott.
I'll miss his diving blocks in front of shooting attackers, he certainly had the courage and commitment for that in his game.

He actually has decent technically ability, he isn’t a terrible footballer he just ended up a terrible centre half.

I still think someone should have stuck him up front for the reserves for a bit when he was out of the first team just to have a look. I remember a goal he scored during the ‘great escape’ under Ronnie Moore that was a winner when he got over a volley at the Rink End from just inside the box and fizzed it in the bottom corner a finish any centre forward at any level would have been happy with. Plus as Mr Ball has just said he doesn’t shy out of much and will put himself about.

As a defender though it was against the physical players he was exposed the most, he seemed to want to engage in a physical battle and make rash decisions rather than use his head. I remember him getting absolutely schooled by Akinfenwa for a goal the season before last and that seemed the case every time he came up against a proper experienced lower league forward with a bit about themselves.

Harrison as striker? That's worse than one of monkeybutt's jokes.

I remember him as being ok several years ago.
What happened......was it Pools who screwed him up?

Apart from the odd half decent switch off play pass I can't remember what exactly what he has done for! Pure liability in my book.
