Back in the day when everyone was pals with each other.

This one in response to Martin Allen commenting about swimming the Tees? if something significant happened. I think he got sacked shortly afterwards by whoever he was managing at the time. Probably Barnet.

This one referred to a particular poster called Jonny (what happened to him?) who if I remember right used to mention how much we missed Boydy when he went to Luton:

One of my favourites, an artist's impression of the promised new Rink End. I often wonder if Cockall took inspiration from this when he was drawing up his fantasy plans.

If I remember rightly he’d just got the Brentford job towards the back end of Neale Coopers first season they were in the bottom four we were pushing for top 6, and he actually jumped in the Tees in front of all the players whilst out for a walk from the hotel they were staying at (it could have been The Tall Trees) to prove he was mental or something, anyway his motivational methods worked they beat us 2-1 (Boydy scored a beauty for us during his 12 in 10 run back from Boston) and stayed up.

Him and Coops used to have some right ding dongs on the touch line but I think they really got on once the game had finished, you can see why.

The river was the Skerne. Doesn't make it any less bonkers though.

It would have been more impressive if he'd swum up the Skerne all the way to Trimdon then caught the TMS.

He'd be paddling once he got to Trimdon. It's no more than a stream from it's source to Hurworth Burn reservoir. Sad fact for the day; I once lost a wellie in the 'bog' that is the source of the Skerne.

Wrong match and wrong river apart from that my memory is flawless.
