I am trying to work out when people started peddling horseshit like this, you read it on an almost daily basis. Was it around the Brexit vote? It's sort of evolved from sharing absolute made up bollocks on Facebook posted by 'Britain First' to shouting about not being allowed to be English.

The notion that out aren't 'allowed' to be English or British anymore. Absolute nonsense, tourism is in the UK is built around that very thing. Nobody is offended by parading scruffy flags on top of your car or worse hung from your bedroom window but without wanting to speak for him I think Snowy thinks it's a bit chavy, different strokes for different folks no harm done.

We would surely all live far better lives if we all accepted that the World is a far smaller place these days and most countries are far more multi cultural societies. Surely it's not that hard to live side by side with anyone and show a bit of respect and understanding towards different cultures? It actually makes places better when you have a far broader spectrum of things available. Take most UK cities these day they have a far broader range of food places, shops and bars surely that makes things a bit nicer. Also I can get Fish and Chip, Bacon and get pissed in the Middle East! Life evolves and moves on. It works all ways but I'm a bit sick of this knuckle dragging labelling of people because of race or religion that gives platforms for ignorant buffoons to spout nonsense. That applies to all ways by the way before people start shouting again.

On St Georges day in Nottingham the council put up a massive George Cross on the council house in the city centre. Apparently the biggest flag in the country. Gets on the local news every year, its impossible to not know about it.
