Just tried for the first time booking mine on line got to the checkout to find a £5 booking fee stuck on the total! well they know where they can stick the £5 cos they ain,t getting it. rakxe Did they have this charge last season?

I thought this would reduce queus in the shop and make it easier not make more money out of the supporters.

Come on Pools sort it out. :angry-tappingfoot:

You get charged a fee for using for using a card in the shop as it’s a fee passed onto Pools by the company so imagine it’s the same reason behind the charge for online sales. Pools won’t be making any money on of it a third party will process the payment.

The club needs all the support it can get and at the end of the day it’s £5, what exactly do you want them to sort out?

Not really no, do you think that £5 is going to Pools? But you want them to pay it for you. Buy anything online, nine times out of ten it incurs a booking or delivery fee.

Well you should tell the ticket office section of the official website, you always get charged 2% on card payments for season tickets.

For clarification i have just this morning renewed my season ticket at the ground by credit card and there was no extra charge.

Mr Hartleblue i would drive down to the tickets office and with the £5 saving we could share 2 1/2 pints at the Globe.....win win

The online charge should have been declared in advance if it was i didnt see it.

I was pleased with the club abolishing card charges as if you have a zero APR credit card its a cheap way of financing your ticket over a number of months and might encourage more sales to offset the costs to the club of card fees.....hopefully!

The club didn't abolish the credit card charge, the government did.

Share 2 1/2 pints, we would have to arm wrestle for the half. ;)

Or add 50p each and add a half each or even better take the bus and have a gallon, a curry and taxi back :banana-linedance:

It's a good m9ve by pools if they have dropped the card fees. I remember a number of years ago, someone was in buying 4 season tickets and he wanted to pay on a credit card. It was a 4% fee at the time!
