Good players who become consistently successful managers are rare. Cruyff and Guardiola come to mind but more often than not they get a big job, win something then are found out similar to Zidane now or Klinnsman.

I'm just a better judge of manager than yous. Getting to the final is an expectation for Real Madrid rather than an achievement. They have relied on individual brilliance more than team cohesion and that suggests to me the manager isn't up to it. They couldn't beat 10 man Barcelona last night and didn't really look any better for the extra man either. If they don't win the final does anyone think he'll be there next season after finishing 3rd in the league?

It’s a club that naturally has a big turnover of managers I suggest it means he’s been found out he’s won 8 trophies in his first three seasons as managers including LA Liga and the Champions League twice and is in the final for a go at a record third. Generally three or four years is enough for anyone in that pressure cooker.
