It's certainly not been boring this year. Might stick some money on Roma as not much has been straight forward in the knockout stages.

My Liverpool supporting mate has already booked flights and hotel for the final. He also put a bet on Roma to win as an insurance policy.

I'd love to see them win it just because they're English and they're entertaining to watch but heart attack rates must soar in Liverpool when they play because of their defence/keeper.

The final should be held in Benidorm. Every year.

That is abroad to Sussex, anywhere else is too foreign and therefore will result in certain death.

Back on topic, I've seen more convincing goalkeeping for Pools than at both ends in this game.

Christ.

What the fuck was the keeper doing then

Top insight from the ever excitable Owen Hargreaves as well “he should have just kicked it” yeah cheers Owen.

The bloke in goal for Real Madrid looks like one of those people who pose as street entertainers in Spain to scam idiots out of money that they found on the street before the match and asked if he fancied a game. Liverpool will beat these I reckon they have been fortunate in this tie, shite in both legs.

If only the Bayern keeper could have had Owen Heagreaves pitch side to tell him what to do!

BT Sport employ both Owen Hargreaves and Michael Owen for their expert insight, they clearly have a very low opinion of their viewers!

If Liverpool make the final the one thing they have over both these teams is they are clinical with their chances. Real Madrid are about as bad as I can remember seeing them but still look likely to make the final.

Was a good watch all the same, both teams infinitely better than last week but still shouldn't be a match for Liverpool on their game.

Let's be fair, Liverpool aren't a match for either of them on their game either.

And remember that Roma on their game beat Barcelona... That tie isn't over at all.

I wonder what the odds where on Liverpool winning the Chanpions League before it started?? I remember a lot off pundits had written them off and said Spurs would go further than them also a lot said that PSG would win it.

I’m not so sure this season.

Real Madrid are third in La Liga, a terrible season by the clubs standards and they have been unimpressive every time I have seen them play. Defensively they particularly look vulnerable and Liverpool’s front three could have a field day they are in sensational form. A bit of sporadic magic from Ronaldo I give Liverpool a hell of a chance based on what I have seen lately.

You’re right tonight isn’t over but it 95% is, a goal for Liverpool at any stage pretty much puts the tie to bed lightening rarely strikes twice plus I can’t, as well as Roma played, see Liverpool turning in such a lethargic performance as Barcelona did. It’s good for Liverpool that they went to Manchester City with a similar mindset and big lead in the last round and after slow start picked it up and won the game.

What those people ignore is that Paris Saint Germain spend the whole domestic season playing shite teams. They can never be as prepared as clubs from the major leagues.
They don't have history on their side either. Before 1970 they didn't exist, not even as an idea.
Still, it's only Qatari money going down the bog. Best place for it.

They have a Paris St Germain club shop in the Shopping Mall near us to this day I haven’t anyone in it apart from the day I had a browse!

Not quite niche as the Leicester City club shop I once saw in Bangkok airport, this was long before they won the Premier League they were a Championship Club, they are probably quite big in Thailand now since ‘that’ season!

Bangkok airport can go to hell unless they've installed toilets since I was there.

Really looking forward to Roma v Liverpool tonight, If Liverpool can get an early goal the game will open up and will be a joy to watch. The Final should be one of the best in recent years if it is Liverpool who get through.

Come on the Pool! bbolt

If Roma can score 3 early goals it will be interesting. I'd expect similar tactics to Bayern last night. Lots of crosses to expose the keeper who has a touch of sausage fingers about him.
