What about the barber, the record executive and the film mogul. Think of the southerners!!!

So it's official. No Trust representation.

For now I’d say it’s obviously something they are open to in the future though. Maybe the Trusts money for now is better off where it is?

The good thing is I reckon out of that board the only person likely to be taking a wage is Hignett, I’d love to see what the likes of Coxall and Goldberg were paying themselves.

Hopefully this means Pam and Paul Watson are long gone.

Great to see 2 of them here on a voluntary basis.

You beat me to it PJ. Good first move, good experience, confirmation of voluntary roles, couldn't have been much better really.

Trust role may come in due course if a stake in the club is purchased and for now they need to build up as close a relationship as possible with regular dialogue.

Onwards and upwards hopefully!

He has been in the job a week, he has bigger fish to fry before the Trust.

We have been in contact and had a response, slowly catchy monkey.

That Davey Arthur isn't a bad singer, as well as being a Chartered Accountant.

The new Chief Executive isn't listed on their either but you can bet he will be on the board. He will not be working for free either as he was on a good salary at his last club even though he failed miserably and got them relegated before being relieved of his duties. Goint to be loads of responsinility on Hignetts back to get the ship turned around as the rest of them wont shift season tickets.

Nice to see Ian on the board. I presume it's his stage name like Shakira or Pele. Or maybe he's a Scottish town.

At least it would appear that the club is now going to be run in a more business like manner than it has been in the past. The two directors already appointed to the board bring long standing experience to two important areas of the club free of charge that would normally cost a lot of money. Next appointment to the board would be a chief executive my candidate would be Chris Turner who knows the club and has done the job at Chesterfield.

Agreed Chesterfield have done well since his appointment

Ian has worked largely as an insolvency lawyer and specialised in insolvency within sport. Nothing to read into that.

Anyone who has a Hartlepool street - well, grove - named after him, can only be good for the town.
