I actually forgot we were playing but remembered England had a meaningless friendly. It's like a parrallel universe that I'm ashamed to be in.

Despite a fine second half against Barrow, apart from the goal I can only remember one clear attempt ( by Rodney) to beat what must be the poorest goalie in the league. Hence I cannot see us scoring more than two and with a Harrison blunder, the score will hopefully be another 2-1 win.

If we score first I think we will win, if Bromley score first they will try and kill the game stone dead and we will be lucky to get a draw so ....2.1 sounds good to me.

So 3-0 it is (Oates 33 mins, Harrison 66 min, Woods 93 min)

Some clown on his phone on the way out of the ground claimed Rodney was "utter shite" second half. Although having thought about it, I can't think of a single thing he did well other than set the goal up, deliver an absolute peach of a cross that nearly resulted in a goal, ping a beauty just wide and terrorise their entire back 4 for 45 minutes...

I missed Bromley's goal as some ****** arrived on the stairs in front of my seat (minute 45 ffs) looking for friends and blocked my view completely.

That's 3 points of the 7 I reckon are required for safety. I have to admit I thought we would come unstuck in this one. Time running out for Solihull, and Woking now getting sucked into it. Solihull need to win up here to have any chance, if they did that would complicate things a little for us, but I reckon we are home and dry now, barring a disaster. Would be great if we could finish season strongly and get into top half of table with 58 points or so.

A nice little pattern of good form being built up under Bates. A month ago I wouldn't of thought we had a cat in hells chance of getting a result at Maidstone , now I fully expect us to go there and get a win.
