58 must be the lowest we’ve taken to an away league game in living memory.

Surely Torquay during fuel crisis

Apparently that was only fans behind the goal. There were also 100+ sat in the little stand along the side of the pitch.

Not the greatest stadium I've been to, can see it being near impossible to build a decent atmosphere.
Only bit of envy is that the home fans can switch ends with no issues with the visitors being packed in the corner.

Ate before heading in so can't comment if Barrow offer chips

Pam was hanging around at full time .. looked like she was saying her goodbyes

There were more than 58. Thats how many were stood behind the goal. The entrance to the seats wasn't segregated. There were up to another 100 Poolies at the end of the stand - to the right of the camera.

Legend has it only a couple of Pools fans at Crewe in 1982 or 83, Friday night game. Many a game only 10-20 , certainly Colchester , Tuesday night in 1986. Some Saturday games a lot less than 58. Torquay during fuel crisis, more than 58. Poor turnout last night, can only assume those who went to Fylde were suffering nightmares from the thought of going across the A66 again.

They cocked up on the turnstile for the away seats, it was meant to be segregated but they were letting home fans pay on the gate and season ticket holders in there as well so I think they just gave up and went with the standing number.

1996 away to Plymouth Argyle. They needed a win to make sure of being in the play-offs, and the away end was opened. just for the home fans.
I was there with my mate who was an Argyle fan, but I don't recall seeing any Poolies, maybe there was in one of the stands. But as we didn't score, it was hard to tell.

I met someone who went to a night match at Swindon in the 70s or 80s, said he was one of 3 Poolies in the away end.

Many moons ago I went to Cardiff(Ninian Park)on a coach, possibly 30 on the said coach. I was the only one on the terraces alongside 2 stewards, the rest were in the stand. On the way home we were asked for another fiver to help pay for the coach shortfall.
