It makes sense, lets keep bleeding fans dry so that our millionaire owners can have a break in paying bills.

Let's hand over more money into the sage black hole.

Just seen it on Fb. Doesn’t seem to be getting much of a positive response - I think the majority are now thinking realistically about the situation.

Will not stop it confusing matters with the trust fundraising though, and can just see this confusion having a negative impact on both campaigns.

Hang on, I donated to the first funding page and I haven't even been told where the money for that went. I thought the whole point of Just Giving was that when the thing finished everyone who had doneated got an update on where the money as going. All we got was told that the tax bill had been paid and the rest was going " to get the game on " the other week which could mean anything.
Clearly Pam has had the Friends and Rachel in, told them she needs another 100 grand and thinks people will be dumb enough to donate a second time round. The very least they could of done first was publish a penny for penny account of what the last 80 grand was spent on so we can make an informed decision whether to donate again how do we even know the money went to local creditors !

I get that people love the club etc.. and want to do everything they can but this is a non starter. Can't see many people donating a 2nd time.

But it’s not just about ‘loving the club’. It’s about being seen to ‘love the club’ more than others. Particularly others that get on with it in the background without the constant backslapping !

Any chance of the fans becoming the owners 'carer', we may be able to get a proper carers allowance as they now seem to be financially dependent on us.

Fair enough, at least proof exists. Are there no business people left at the football club who could of told Pam this was another PR Disaster putting out the begging bowl. Do they not have a commercial department that could of come up with something better than asking fans for another 100k just days after one of the worst performances from the worst Pools side in history.

Where is this page and who has started it?

It’s not going to do very well anyway as even the suggestion is absurd but it will do even worse because I have just Googled it and only seen links to last months.

And when people don't agree and start to voice their concerns in response to a second fundraising drive, this happens.....

Given the Just Giving page was constantly referred to as Go Fund, sensible to start a Go Fund page. Keeps things simple.

By the way how will a hundred grand get us to the end of the season?

We were told we needed £200,000 to see out January. It’s been reported the club was losing up to £180,000 a month. The end of the season is over two months away.

It’s like figures are being plucked out of thin air when it suits.

Does it matter? If people want to give their money to this bunch of charlatans then let them crack on. Just don't moan about being skint later. They deserve to be skint.

‘How much do you want Pam?’

‘Yeah, okay.’

We didn't even hit 100k when we had all the good will in the world on our side.

Was that those that organised it?

Did it start slowly last time?

If you ask the same people who knew about the original funding page to donate to this one, the question will be - 'Hang on, again?' Or 'When is it going to end,' Or maybe even 'What's in it for me?'

It's clearly well intentioned but the fact is the last funding page petered out towards the end - this tells you all you need to know as to how successful this page will be.

How can anyone think this is a good idea? All the marvellous goodwill and affection shown for the club, by fans and players of teams from here and elsewhere, will evaporate due to this latest effort. The Club may be insolvent, but the person who is ultimately responsible for it's future is far from it. Why should Pools fans and any other fans subsidise a wealthy business's stupidity and, frankly, criminal incompetence? Regardless of how much is raised it will not "save" Hartlepool United, just as the previous effort didn't. To compare it with HUST's fundraising effort is just willfull stupidity. Can this whole tragi-comedy get any worse? And in this game of brinkmanship who will it "buy time" for? I'm almost ashamed to be a supporter of this Club.

A bit of me died inside reading that Facebook page tonight. It magnifies the differences between a small number of people into a full blown pseudo crisis. In the meantime the real crisis goes on unchecked.
